LNYSA | Laguna Niguel Youth Soccer Association
Laguna Niguel Youth Soccer Association (LNYSA) facilitates youth soccer players across three levels of the game—Recreational, Select and Competitive. LNYSA offers and supports the individual player development pathway and journey at different levels and purposes of play from participation to performance. Laguna United FC is the competitive arm of LNYSA, serving the City of Laguna Niguel as its sole club soccer provider.
LNYSA Select
Laguna Niguel Youth Soccer Association (LNYSA) facilitates youth soccer players across three levels of the game—Recreational, Select and Competitive. LNYSA Select is a program that offers advanced recreational play. Select Soccer is a natural progression, or transition, for players wishing to play at a higher Recreational level, while retaining many of the benefits of a recreational schedule at a low cost and within localized playing circuits.
EAL | Elite Academy League
The Elite Academy League (EAL) is composed of member clubs that represent Elite competitive clubs in their market and have shown to be of the standard and will benefit from being part of this platform. By unifying clubs from within the conferences, the league maintains the defining standards of previous elite platforms with a collective approach to making sure the National platform sits atop the youth landscape. As a founding member, Laguna United FC academy teams compete in the EAL, a supplemental league to the MLS Elite Clubs.
NPL | National Premier Leagues
The National Premier Leagues (NPL) is a national competition platform created to elevate and change the competitive youth soccer landscape by extending developmental principles espoused by U.S. Soccer into more age groups and clubs, linking competition with player development and identification platforms, and providing meaningful weekly competition culminating in a national postseason. Laguna United FC is represented in the prestigious National Premier League (NPL) across different age groups in the NPL Southwest.
UPSL | United Premier Soccer League
​The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams nationwide. It is the largest Pro Development League in North America and it is the first league in the country to implement a Promotion & Relegation league structure for the betterment and development of the game. ​All UPSL Member Teams are eligible to compete in the qualifying rounds of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and U.S. National Amateur Cup. Laguna United FC has a Pro Development Team competing in UPSL's Premier Division of the Western Conference - So Cal North.
